Pipes are generally measured by Nominal Bore (NB) and Schedule (which defines wall thickness), while tubes are specified by their Outer Diameter (OD) and Wall Thickness (WT), often offering tighter tolerances and precision. Pipes are mostly round, whereas tubes can be round, square, or rectangular.

These are available in both seamless and welded forms (ERW, EFW, HFIW), with sizes ranging from ¼” to 80” diameter and wall thicknesses from 1 mm to 60 mm.
